Extra Money On The Line For Wolf Memorial

CHICO, CA (8-18-14) - The 2nd Annual Tyler Wolf Memorial is fast approaching. The event is scheduled to take place this Friday, August 22nd at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA. Last year saw Andy Forsberg take home the brand new Tyler Wolf Memorial Trophy, this year he among many other drivers will try to do the same. Not only will they be trying to win that trophy, but they will also be competing for bonus money up for grabs for this event only.

Each Lap of the 25 Lap Main Event was sold for $50. That $50 will be distributed among the top 3 in the running order each lap. With $25 to first, $15 to second, and $10 to third. Some laps though are worth more than others. Lap 7 is worth $150 so first will get $75, second $50, third $25. There are a couple other laps worth $100 as well. Following is the breakdown of the 25 Laps and who donated to each lap.

There is $1,525 raised in Lap Money alone. We also have a lot of extra money on the line for the drivers by way of multiple different awards earned throughout the night. Following are the awards and what they are worth.

19th Place Finisher in A-Main- $50 (Michael Allen)
First Non-Transfer from B-Main- $100 (Mike Funkhouser)

Fast Time Award- $350 (Chuck Wolf- $100 & Mancamp Motorsports- $250)
8th Fastest Qualifier- $100 (Roger & Lynda Otten)
Stock Car Tough Luck Award- $50 (Stacey Myers)

We would like to thank all who have donated to this amazing event for an amazing person. With your help we have raised over $2600 for this event. Also, there will be Brand New Tyler Wolf Memorial T-Shirts for sale on Friday during and after the race. There will also be new stickers available for purchase at the event.
