A New Year and A New Schedule Release for 2026 at SDS

SLC Promotions Unveils 2026 Schedule for Silver Dollar Speedway
CHICO, Calif. Dec 31, 2025 – SLC Promotions enters their fifth year at the helm of Silver Dollar Speedway, and they are excited to unveil the 2026 Event Schedule. With leadership from Brad Sweet, Kyle Larson, and Colby Copeland, SLC Promotions is offering a diverse range of motor sports starting in March and concluding at the end of September. In total, 26 individual nights of thrilling dirt track events are planned. “We are excited to bring more events to Chico in 2026,” said Brad Sweet. “The addition of some new racing divisions, bringing back the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial, and adding an extra night of flat track motorcycle racing were important to us.” Sweet summed up the schedule by adding, “The race weekends we started four years ago are getting bigger and the Gold Cup continues to grow rapidly to new heights. We are excited to share the 2026 schedule with our supportive fans and race teams.”
A quick overview of the schedule shows four NARC 410 events this year at Chico. The Mini Gold Cup will host two nights of NARC 410 sprint car racing on April 10 and 11. The return of the Dave Bradway Jr. is set for May 9th. The David Tarter Memorial is scheduled for June 6th.
SLC Promotions is set to host a Wednesday night show and they are not fooling. The race, featuring 360 sprints, hobby stocks, and sport mods, is called April FUELS Day presented by Sunoco Fuel. This special Wednesday night race takes place on April 1st.
For those interested in practice, a Play Day is scheduled for February 22. Two weeks following practice, the Silver Cup Race of Champions will feature 360 sprint cars and the return of Dwarf Cars to Chico.
Two nights of Flat Track Motorcycle racing are scheduled for May 1 and 2. On May 2nd, the Progressive American Flat Track professionals will hit the Silver Dollar Short Track for the third consecutive year. In previous years, this event was only one night.
The Monsters are set to return on September 18 and 19 as the Malicious Monster Truck / Insanity Tour invades Silver Dollar Speedway.
The Speedway will host five nights of Fair events starting on May 21 and running through May 25. A plethora of different styles of entertainment are scheduled including Crate Sprints, Mini Trucks, Sport Mods, Hunt Magnetos Wingless Tour, Hobby Stocks, 360 Sprint Cars, Tractor Pulls, and a Destruction Derby. It does not get any more diverse than that.
The 72nd Gold Cup Race of Champions will once again kick off with the John and Robbie Classic on August 26. The following three nights will feature the High Limit Racing series. This year’s theme of Gold Cup is Carnival.
The Sprint Car Challenge Tour will hit the track on July 17 and pay tribute to Chuck and Tyler Wolf this year. Riebe’s Classic Cars will present Fan Appreciation Night on July 31.
The Fall Nationals in Tribute to Stephen Allard will once again conclude racing at Silver Dollar Speedway. The two-day event will take place September 25 and 26.
