Champions Classic 410 Sprint Car Race Pays 4k to Win on Friday
CHICO, Calif. May 5, 2026 – This Friday night, May 8th, Silver Dollar Speedway will host the Champions Classic presented by Fry’s Metals, featuring three divisions. Led by the powerful and popular 410-winged sprint cars, this Friday night will get the Silver Dollar Speedway up and running. Joining the 410-winged sprints are the Rental Guys Hobby Stocks and the B Sport Mods.
This Friday May 8th will mark the first time since last August that the 410-winged sprint cars have attacked the famed Silver Dollar Speedway. Anticipation is at an all-time high for the back-to-back nights of 410 sprint car racing at the Dollar. The Champions Classic will pay a staggering $4,000 to the winner of Friday night’s main event.
Friday night will begin a long championship battle for the Rental Guys Hobby Stocks. This season is gearing up to be the biggest and best year for this division. Starting with this Friday May 8th, the Rental Guys Hobby Stocks will compete a total of eight times in 2026. Upcoming races include two nights at the Silver Dollar Fair on May 22nd and 23rd, July 1st, 17th, and 31st, and the season ending Fall Nationals on September 25th and 26th. Big money, big awards, and a whole lot of fun are planned this season.
B Sport Mods have a chance to continue and showcase their ability to race at the Silver Dollar Speedway. This Friday night, May 8th, is the first of four overall visits to the speedway. The final three events include the Silver Dollar Fair on May 21, July 1st, and July 31st. Sport Mods continue to be a fan favorite at the speedway. The division is etched with a long history of great drivers racing side by side at the Dollar. We are looking forward to seeing them sling mud once again in 2026.
The NARC King of the West 410 sprint cars will headline the Saturday Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial on May 9th. The B.C.R.A Lightning Sprints will companion the NARC stars and cars on Saturday. Heat race trophies, along with contingency prizes will be awarded throughout Saturday nights tribute to Dave Bradway Jr Memorial.
CAMPING: Overnight camping is available for each night of racing and costs $50 per night. As with the past few seasons, camping is only available on pit road or over by the RC Track near Costco. Please pay at the pit gate or a representative from SLC Promotions will come to collect the money.
FAN INFORMATION: Front gate will open at 5 PM for Friday night May 8th. On Saturday night, May 9, the front gate will open at 4 PM. HAPPY HOUR will take place at the Farmers Brewing Co. beer booth on Saturday from 4 PM to 6 PM. During the Happy Hour, Silver Dollar Speedway will host a FAN FEST with drivers coming over into the midway area to sign autographs.
