2025 Silver Dollar Speedway Schedule Release
CHICO, Calif., January 3, 2025…Now entering their fourth year at the helm of Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA, SLC Promotions is pleased to announce the 2025 schedule of events. SLC Promotions, led by Brad Sweet, Kyle Larson, and Colby Copeland, bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to dirt track racing. Their goal is to keep Silver Dollar Speedway at the forefront of dirt track racing and continue to build events that fans want to be a part of. SLC Promotions have made major improvements at the Speedway their first three years and will continue to bring fresh ideas for the enjoyment of fans and drivers that race on the famed high banked, quarter-mile clay oval. The 2025 schedule is now available at our website www.silverdollarspeedway.com
There are some new dates and events to make note of this season. Starting with the Silver Cup scheduled for February 28 and March 1. This annual two-day event will kick start racing at Silver Dollar Speedway a little earlier than normal. Both nights will feature the 360 sprint cars. Additional support classes are being talked about and will be released later.
The Mini Gold Cup also has a new date. This year, the popular two-day show is slated for April 11 and 12. The Saturday night race will mark the first of two visits by the NARC 410 sprint cars. NARC returns on June 7 for the David Tarter Memorial.
For the second year in the row, the Silver Dollar Short Track event returns featuring the American Flat Track motorcycle series. Tickets for this exciting event are sold through their website at www.americanflattrack.com and not by the speedway. Camping accommodation at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds is available for reservations starting March 31 by calling (530) 966-4020 or e-mail silverdollarspeedway@yahoo.com
SLC Promotions have been asked to take over the motorsports portion of the annual Silver Dollar Fair and Carnival from May 22 through May 26. For the first time ever, the speedway will entertain the fair crowd with three nights of consecutive sprint car racing starting May 22, 23 and ending with a big finale on May 24. The Hobby Stocks are also penciled in for the first two nights of racing. Then on May 25, bring on the ground pounding excitement of the Tractor Pulls. On the final day of the fair, May 26, the popular destruction derby makes a comeback. Limited camping is available, and reservations are available starting March 31.
Another popular event is back on June 27, and June 28. Feel the earth shake, hear the roar, and watch in excitement as the Monster Trucks return to the Silver Dollar Speedway. We are excited to bring the Monster Truck show back to the Speedway, after a year hiatus from the Chico area.
For the 71st time, the Gold Cup Race of Champions is back and better than ever. The Gold Cup is a staple of the community, and this four-day extravaganza is scheduled for August 20, 21, 22, and 23. Once again the main attraction is the Kubota High Limit Racing sprint car series. SLC Promotions is hard at work already planning the day and night activities that this race is known for. This year the theme of Gold Cup is “The Beach.” Get ready for sand, water, and the best racing of the season at this year’s Gold Cup.
Four-day tickets holders from last year’s Gold Cup should have received an e-mail to renew their seats for 2025. If not, please contact silverdollarspeedway@yahoo.com. All reserved camping from last year’s event has also been sent out. IMPORTANT NOTE: any ticket or campsite not renewed by Jan 31, will then be offered for sale to the public on February 2.
Other marquee events will include the Fast Cars and Freedom event on July 4. Auto racing and the post-race firework show are sure to entertain fans of all ages. The Tyler Wolf Memorial is set for July 18 and will feature the Sprint Car Challenge Tour. The Fall Nationals in tribute to Stephen Allard concludes the season on September 26 and 27.
