Monster Trucks Return to Chico This Weekend
CHICO, Calif., June 23, 2025 – The Malicious Monster Truck Tour returns to the Silver Dollar Speedway after a two-year hiatus this weekend. The sights and sounds of high flying, earth rumbling, bone jarring Monster Trucks begin this Friday night, June 27th, and conclude the next night, June 28th.
For both nights, kids aged 12 and under will be admitted FREE! Silver Dollar Fairgrounds offers FREE parking in their designated parking lot. Make this weekend a night to remember with your family.
Straight Up Racing owners Bill and Lorna Payne bring the excitement of the Malicious Monster Truck Tour back to Chico with enthusiasm and the promise of new tricks from their fleet of trucks. The World-Famous Malicious Monster Truck Tour features bone jarring, car crushing, high flying Monster Trucks competing in Racing events, Best Trick, and Free Style competition. The giant car eating monster Megasaurus will join the Monster Trucks this weekend.
The front gate opens at 5 PM each night. The midway will be filled with plenty of things to see. Fans will be able to grab a bite to eat, and adults can enjoy the Farmers Brewing Beer Booth to quench their thirst. Fans arriving early will partake in the Pit Party on the front stretch that includes the opportunity to sit on a Monster Truck and take a ride. The on-track show begins at 7 PM.
