Terry Schank Jr. Dominates Wingless Sprints Feature

CHICO, CA (5-2-15) -Â Terry Schank Jr. found victory lane for the second time this season at Silver Dollar Speedway. Nine wingless sprint cars signed into the pits competing alongside the King of the West Sprint Car Series during the 25th Annual Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial Race. Schank Jr jumped out to the lead on the opening lap of the 20 lap wingless sprints main event and went wire to wire to claim victory and swept the night. The battle on the track was for the podium finishes between Tim Sherman Jr, Tony Richards, and Nathan Johnson. Richards would get around Sherman Jr and hang on to finish second. Johnson also got around Sherman Jr to come home in the third spot. Sherman Jr and Casey McClain rounded out the top five. Shank Jr won the lone heat race. The wingless sprints now have a month and a half off and will return to action June 19th for points race #9.

Silver Dollar Speedway will be back in action next Friday night May 8th for Chuck Paterson Dodge points race #6 presented by Fastenal and JP's Paint and Body Works. Front Gate opens at 6pm with racing scheduled to begin at 7pm.
