PERMA-ZYME Joins Speedway as Official Wingless Series Sponsor
CHICO, CA (4-2-13) -Â Silver Dollar Speedway is pleased to announce that PERMA-ZYME, a "green friendly" soil stabilizer will be the official Friday night series sponsor of the Wingless Sprint car division. Partner and senior advisor of the company, Bob Johnson said, "We are happy to support the Silver Dollar Speedway in 2013. This is a track I have attended since 1963. I have a lot of history with this place!" This year not only with Johnson and his group sponsor the series but he is also helping to field a car. His son, Nathan, will pilot the #E85 during most PERMA-ZYME wingless races in 2013. "Our company is expanding so quickly that it will be hard for us to make every show but we still wanted to show our support of the division by putting our name on it," said Johnson.
Developed and proven through over 40 years of field use and testing, PERMA-ZYME provides advantages to road builders, communities and the ecology by being extremely cost effective to use for construction while still being non-toxic, non-corrosive and environmentally safe. When mixed with water and applied to the soil prior to compaction, PERMA-ZYME acts on the organic fines (clays) in the soil through a catalytic bonding process and produces a strong "cementation" action, which creates a surface that resists water penetration, weathering and wear.
Two seasons ago the Silver Dollar Speedway used PERMA-ZYME in the pit area to help keep the pits accessible during the early spring rains that traditionally come through the area. The results were evident. "There is no doubt in my mind that without using PERMA-ZYME two seasons ago to help harden up the soil in the pit area we would not of been able to hold some of our events because the pits would have been too soft," said promoter Dennis Gage. "We just received our new shipment of PERMA-ZYME and will apply it once again this spring."
