Silver Dollar Speedway
Play Date Set for this Sunday at Silver Dollar Speedway
CHICO, CA (2-27-13) -Â For the first time in 2013 the roar of race cars will pace around the quarter-mile clay oval speedway this Sunday March 3. All divisions are welcomed to hit the track starting at noon and concluding around 4 pm. Pit fees are $25.00 per person for the day. Drivers and crews will get plenty of track time to try and test and tune their hot rods for the upcoming season. For more information about this weekend please call the track office at 530-350-7275.
The following weekend will kick off the racing season for 2013 with the annual running of the Silver Cup Race of Champions on March 8 and 9. The 360 winged sprint cars, IMCA dirt modifieds and wingless sprints are expected to draw huge car counts for the two night event.
The World of Outlaws hit the track for one night only on March 23rd. This special night of racing will feature the best sprint car drivers in the world for one night only. On March 29th the first Wells Fargo point championship event begins with five racing divisions led by the popular 410 winged sprint cars.
