CHICO, CA (3-30-12) - A heavy weather system has played havoc with the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds and the Speedway creating a wet, swampy mess. With more wet weather predicted for Saturday, track officials have decided to cancel the March 31 play date at the racetrack. This play date will not be made up. The weather does look better for next week leading us into our first point show on April 6th. We hope to have a successful opening night. Kids 11 and under will be admitted free and be allowed to participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Four divisions will attack the quarter-mile including the 410 winged sprints, mini stocks, dirt modifieds and street stocks.
