Riebes Auto Parts Geared for This Friday Night

Photo by Steven Cox [sprintcarphotos.com][/caption]CHICO, CA (6-28-11) -Â The first of two Riebes Auto Parts nights will take place this Friday, July 1st, with points race number eight at the Silver Dollar Speedway. Four divisions will unite as one on this Friday night with the 410 winged sprint cars, Mini Modified Madness Series, Street Stocks and Midget Lites are all set to race. This race kicks off the huge July 4th celebration at the speedway on Monday night. Two Wells Fargo point championship races within four days all culminating with the biggest fire works display ever held at the Fairgrounds.
Front grandstand gate opens at 6pm on July 1st. Racing is slated to begin at 7pm. Adult general admission is $12.00, seniors and juniors are $10.00 and children are $6.00. On July 4th, front gate opens at 5pm with racing slated to start around 6:30pm. Adult general admission for all ages is $15.00. Juniors ages (12-15) are $12.00 and KIDS 11 and UNDER are FREE.
Riebes Auto Parts have been a big part of the speedway for numerous years. The past two years, Riebes Auto Parts has become the official Auto Parts store of Silver Dollar Speedway. Over the past few years, the Riebes store managers have excelled at getting top quality items to giveaway at the races. This year will be no exception. Numerous prizes will be on hand this Friday night along with a special fundraising raffle to benefit the Olson family. The family recently lost three family members in a car crash that happened on Highway 70 earlier this month.
On Thursday afternoon starting at 2pm and continuing until 7pm we invite you to come out to the Riebes on the corner of East 20th and Park Ave. Riebes is showcasing their tools with a big parking lot sale and extra festivities going on. We will be represented by sprint car driver David Tarter and Late Model driver David Larabee. The Silver Dollar Speedway will also be raffling off race tickets and t-shirts to help benefit the Olson family. Riebes Auto Parts in Chico is also offering a $2.00 off coupon for the races at Silver Dollar Speedway.
Sean Becker and Andy Forsberg continue their championship hopes this Friday night. However, both will have to beat local hot-shoe Jason York. It was York's second win of the year. He is brimming with confidence and ready to spoil the championship hopes of either driver. Robbie Withchurch and Tyler Wolf will continue to try and break into victory lane this Friday night.
Kevin Lesch and Phil Marino put on a show for the ages this past Friday night. They will continue their fight this Friday night. Richard Workman, Shawn Smith and Jake Van Tol are all ready to end up in winners circle.
Richard Papenhausen and Mark Abouzeid are tied for the point lead. Both are former champions and ready to add another win their impressive main event victory totals. It will mark the first visit of the year by the Midget Lites. This division is the starting ground for drivers hopeful to one day move up into the Midget division.
