April 1st Event Postponed to July 1st

April 1st Event Postponed to July 1st Due to Weather Conditions

CHICO, Calif., March 30, 2026… Due to inclement weather and forecasted rain, SLC Promotions has announced the postponement of the upcoming April Fuels Day originally scheduled for April 1st at Silver Dollar Speedway, to be moved to July 1st.

Everything will remain the same for the upcoming Wednesday night July 1st race. It will still feature the winged 360 sprints, $5,000 to win. The Rental Guys Hobby Stocks and the Sport Mods are also set to compete. However, there is a hint of new added excitement for the July 1st show. “We are looking forward to bringing the community together for the newly scheduled July 1st race,” said Brad Sweet of SLC Promotions. “While this is disappointing, we never want to cancel an event, we are currently working on something big for the July 1st event. We appreciate the understanding and support of our fans and teams.”

With the postponement of the April 1st race, the next event is less than two weeks away with the two-night Mini Gold Cup scheduled for April 10th and 11th.
