Single Day Gold Cup Tickets Go on Sale August 15th
CHICO, CA (8-6-15) - The 62nd Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico quickly approaching. The historic race is scheduled to take place September 9-12 at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds. While four day reserved tickets have been on sale since last October and will continue to be available for purchase, the Speedway is excited to announce Single Day tickets will go on sale Saturday, August 15th at 9:00 AM. To reserve your single day tickets please call (530) 350 � 7275. The office will stay open until 4:00 PM on Saturday August 15th to accommodate all ticket requests on that day. Several phone lines will be open and added workers will be in the office to handle the orders.
Wednesday night, September 9th, the Civil War 360 Winged Sprint Car Series and Hunt Magnetos Wingless Series continue their charge towards crowning a yearlong champion. Reserved seating is $25.00 and general admission is as low as $10.00 a ticket. Thursday night, September 10th, the Amsoil USAC/CRA non wing sprint cars and BCRA/USAC Midget Series will highlight traditional open wheel racing. Reserved seating is $30.00. General admission ticket is just $15.00. On both nights, kids 11 and under are admitted free with paying adult in the general admission seating area.
Friday and Saturday night the greatest show on dirt, the World of Outlaws is set for two great nights of racing. Friday night reserved ticket is $45.00 while general admission is $30.00. The Saturday night finale is $55.00 for a reserved ticket and $40.00 for general admission. On each of these nights, kids 11 and under is just $15.00.
General admission seats are located in the bleacher section, turns one and four when looking at the speedway. The rows reserved for general admission seating is A through I only.
