CHICO, CA (10-7-13) - The fastest four days of racing in California will continue in Chico as the Silver Dollar Speedway will host the 61st Gold Cup Race of Champions on September 3, 4, 5 and 6 in 2014. The world famous four day extravaganza will host multiple dirt track racing divisions and offer numerous pre and post-race activities for the fans. The staple of Gold Cup racing is the traveling World of Outlaws featuring polarizing drivers like Steve Kinser, Donny Schatz and Sammy Swindell. Tickets for this event will go on sale Columbus Day, October 14th at 8:00 am. Fans are encouraged to call the track office at 530-350-7275 to reserve their seats. Out of town fans are also encouraged to submit their camping spot requests also on October 14th.
