CHICO, CA (8-25-09) - On Wednesday night, September 9, the wingless race held in conjunction with the Pacific Sprint Cup is now open to all wingless applicants received at the track office. If you would like to race with us please call the track office at 916-969-7484 and have the office send out an entry form for this race. Entries will also be accepted at the pit gate on the day of race.

In the past we have left the championship point battle carry into this Wednesday night of racing. This year will we crown our champion on Friday night, August 28. This invitational race will still feature the $5,250.00 purse and $1,000 to win. The top 32 Civil War sprint cars will also be racing. Wednesday night is the prelude to the 56th Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway.

HRP is bringing in 1,000 extra seats for the pit area this year to accommodate the huge pit area crowds.
